This is a summary of all changes deployed to our production environment in the scope of this release.
New Feature – MSRP (RRP)
To ensure that our suppliers can communicate all key specifications of their product in Loupe, we are adding MSRP (RRP) to Sample upload - both inside the Loupe application and in the CSV Sample Upload file.
Retailers will be able to see this value inside Loupe and therefore set the appropriate retail price
New Feature – Projects: Technical Files
To make it easier to keep track of everything related to a single project, you can now load technical files and URL links against projects in Loupe.
This enables project participants to load PowerPoints, Excels, CAD files and more to their project, centralising all associated project assets for ease of future reference
Discover which technical files you can load to projects here
Enhancement – Collections
To make the functionality of ‘Tags’ clearer, we are renaming it to be ‘Collections’.
None of the existing tags functionality is changing - vendors can still have personal and private collections, vendors can batch assign and remove collections and both retailers and vendors can filter by collections.
All existing tags loaded in the system will still be present - nothing is being removed. You will now see them under a heading that says ‘Collections’.
Vendors will also now be able to assign collections when loading samples via CSV sample upload.
Enhancement – Minimum Stone Data: Upload and Edit in Loupe
In order to make the platform easier to use for suppliers, we have loosened our controls on which stone data is required to create a sample via CSV upload. With this enhancement, suppliers will only be required to include Stone Category (e.g. Gemstone), Stone Type (e.g. Ruby) and Carat Weight (where applicable) in the Loupe application. All other Stone fields will still be available but they will be optional.
Enhancement – Privacy Updates
To make Privacy in Loupe clearer, we have changed the copy in the Privacy rollover to say ‘All Markets’ instead of ‘Universal’.
If you would like to know more about Privacy in Loupe, please read this article.
We have also updated Exclusivity to be Privacy in the CSV Sample Upload file.
