This article explains how you can automatically enable memo prices for your entire showroom for a specific customer. This feature saves your sales team from needing to enable this on a SKU by SKU basis, which can be time consuming.
💡 PLEASE NOTE: Only Admin and Sales Team Managers have the ability to enable Memo price:
If you are not the admin user or a Sales Team Manager, you will need to ask the relevant people within your company to make this change.
What does this feature do?
With Automatic Memo Price switched on, when your customer requests a memo price for a product in their assortment by default your memo price will be available to them. This feature should only be used if you are happy to give your customer identical prices for Asset and Memo terms on your products.
⚠️ Caution
If this feature is not enabled, the buyer must follow the below process:
- Select your sample
- Request memo price from you
- Wait for your Sales team to confirm a memo price
- Action the system notification they receive informing them of your sales team response
How do I enable this feature?
In order to enable automatic memo pricing simple navigate to the customer company pricing settings page inside of Customers section of Settings. Then select the toggle button under Automatic Memo Pricing for the customer for which you would like to enable this pricing.
How do I change the memo price for an item in the event that it is different than the asset price?
In order to enable a memo price for an item first select the product for which you would like to enable memo pricing, please follow these steps.
- Scroll down to the Customer Pricing section of the item page
- Select Show Memo Pricing
- Select Activate
- Edit the Quoted Price for the memo item
- Select the Update Pricing button
Note: You will only see this option for retail partners who are Enterprise Customers on Loupe.
