How can I ensure buyers see the variations of my samples in search results?

In this article we will explain how adding variants of your samples will help buyers finding your samples when searching

Samples have to be added to your Showroom to be visible on the network. However, the most important thing to understand is that if you have uploaded a sample in one metal title, gemstone type, or diamond grade then your customer may not be able to find it and ask you for a quote on a variation. The reason they will not see these variations is because of how specification filters work on Loupe.

For example, if you make a ring in 14k, 18k, and 22k gold but only upload the 18k variation, then your customers will never know that these other variations exist. When they filter to rings in 14k or 22k, your 18k ring will not be included in the results.

As another example, if you make a solitaire ring that can be purchased with either an emerald, a ruby, or a diamond but you only upload the diamond variant, then your customers will never find the emerald or ruby variant when filtering for rings with those types of gemstones. The same goes for other gemstones, diamond grades, and other variables.

Fortunately, Loupe makes it easy to upload variations of existing samples. Check out this page that explains how to make a gemstone variant of an existing sample.

Uploading all the variations of your samples will make it easier for your customers to find your items, shortlist, select, and request a quote.
