How to update pricing for Showroom items
In order to update customer prices or give an item discount you need to first navigate to Showroom under the Sales area of the left navigation. Inside here pick an item for which you would like to update the price. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to view the Customer Pricing section. In this area you will see a list of all connected retail partners and the prices and discounts you are offering.
The pricing table will display according to the Company and Status listed. For example, in the image above, Bridal Heaven has Selected the item and so you will need to edit its pricing from Running Lines. You can see how to do this below.
In the pricing table you will see multiple discounts; including Co-op, Company, and Geographic. These can all be edited in your settings. You can learn more about how to edit these here.
In this table you can edit the Item Discount and the Quote price for any customer. These two fields work together such that you can edit either field and the other field is updated automatically. You can quickly update all the prices for each customer however you would like, and then simply click Update Pricing.
How to update pricing for selected items
To update the price of an item that has been selected by a retail partner, simply go to Running Lines under Products in the left navigation and select an item for which you would like to update the price. Scroll down to the and click Customer Pricing. You should see a table listing the customer who selected the item.
Like in Showroom you can edit the pricing of this item by changing the Item Discount or Quoted Price. Like in Showroom, these two values are tied together so editing one will automatically update the other. When you are happy with the price, just click Update Pricing to save it.
Tip: Your quoted price at customer level is always relevant to the standard Costing section parameters further up the page in three ways:
- Quote Currency - If your sample master was loaded originally in EUR it will always stay in EUR even if you change your browsing currency Quote Metal Lock.
- Quote Metal Lock - If your sample master was loaded originally with a Quote Metal Lock of $17 silver, any price you enter into the customer level pricing table will always be relevant to the same metal market.
- Sell Method - If your sample master was loaded originally with a Sell Method of Labour per Gram then any price you enter into the customer level pricing table will always be relevant to the same sell method. To view the final price your customer see's including metal, you need to go to your Showroom and filter by customer.
