How does supplier pricing and sample visibility work on Loupe?

In this article we will explain the pricing theory on Loupe; including the fact that until you are connected to a supplier, you cannot see your individual price, just a list price

All prices are automatically updated according to your selected metal and currency rates. For example, if you update your metal prices from live to fixed, then you will see all the items on the page change prices automatically.

Further, Loupe is a real-time quotation system. So, if a vendor changes their price, then you will see the updated price immediately. Don't worry, you will be notified of any specification or price changes from your vendors.

Your vendors can set prices that are specific to your company. In the image below you can see how a vendor sets up its pricing for different retailers it is connected with. The vendor can set various discounts and adjustments to the price for each of its customers. Note, this is only possible if you have connected with the vendor. If you are viewing an item from a vendor with which you are not connected, then you will simply see the list price that is made available to all retailers.

Note: Different buyers inside your company may have different items that have been made available to them by a vendor. So, do not be surprised if an item you can see is not shown to another buyer at your company. The vendor is in complete control of which items are available to which buyers.
