Currently, when enterprise retailers make updates to Sourcing metal locks, the change affects only new cost submissions and all historic cost submissions are retained as per the earlier values. But to ensure uniformity and consistency, retailers want to update all historic cost submissions when Sourcing metal locks prices are updated as per market change. To support this change, as the first step, we need to preserve the Sourcing Lock currency if it is used in any cost submission so it can be used for recalculation as per the updated value. |
We are going to disable the 'Delete Currency' button for sourcing metal locks that are used in at least one cost submission. |
Now enterprise retailers will not be able to Delete Sourcing locks if a cost submission exists against that currency. They will be able to update Sourcing metal lock values but the historic cost submissions will stay at old metal locks. The ability to update all cost submissions when Sourcing metal lock is changed will be deployed in upcoming releases. |
